Life painting. Florence, Italy

After graduating, I set up a mural painting business based at The Great Western Studios in London. I had a very interesting decade working on a vast array of mural projects. In 1998 I moved to West Berkshire and returned predominantly to my own painting. Having spent several summers working on a large close-up river series, on the banks of the River Lambourn, I moved back to panoramic landscape. I work mostly in oil on board, mostly in situ, on both large and small scale. I paint locally, often being drawn back to the same spot on the Lambourn Downs. I have exhibited at London Contemporary Art; Michael Parkin Gallery, Belgravia; Needham Street Gallery, NottingHill; St Peters, Notting Hill; Insight at Newbury; Hampshire, Sussex and Kent Art Fairs; Open Studios May 2014/15; Conran's Benchmark exhibition May 2015; Hadcaf, Chilton Foliat, June 2015.

I work to commission on mural projects and landscapes as well as working on my own paintings.

I have an extensive mural portfolio to view.
